In total the Gazetteers hold information on over 70,0000 individual archaeological investigations comprising desk-based assessments, field evaluations, post-planning determination projects, research projects, estate management surveys, building surveys and environmenal assessments.
To date, 10 volumes of the AIP Gazetteer of Archaeological Investigations in England have been published as hard copies and a further seven as online publications.
