UDO:  WATER STORAGE

Water storage pots enclosed by trees
One feature of the cultural landscape not noted in Benin's ethnographical, historical or archaeological literature shows how water was kept cool in a hot climate.


Smaller pots are put in front of larger pots, near the entrance to the 3 metre sq planted ikhimwin trees
