Maritime Landscapes

A seminar held at Wessex Archaeology Tuesday 16 October 2001

'Landscape' is a key perspective in both research and conservation in archaeology on land, but the implications of a similar perspective in maritime archaeology are less well understood. The purpose of the seminar is to present examples of how 'landscape' approaches are being applied in maritime archaeology, and to discuss how these might be developed in future.
