Continuing Professional Development - the Maritime Perspective

This seminar aims to address issues of developing a core of professional maritime archaeologists for the UK. It will consider the key roles and skills required for practicing maritime archaeology. Continuing professional development (CPD) will be examined in light of the IFA's current review of the discipline. It will also address the increasing role of 'Prospect', the Union with the broadest archaeological representation, in shaping conditions and pay in archaeology.
